August 19th - 6th grade orientation (mailing is being sent to all 6th students)
August 23rd - Homeroom assignments will be posted to the doors of the middle school. Students will report to their homeroom at the beginning of school on August 25th.
August 25th - 1st day back to school for students
September 2nd - Open House for the middle school from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
September 3rd - 2 hour delay for students for teacher inservice
September 6th - No School (Labor Day) |

Bloom-Carroll Middle School Relay For Life Walk |

The Bloom-Carroll Middle School students are actively finding donors for their Relay for Life Walk on June 2nd. This walk is to "help stop cancer in it's tracks". All middle school students are eligible to receive a pass from their afternoon classes to walk the high school track and participate in the fun filled events and prizes. However to receive this pass the student must make at least a $5.00 donation to the cause. We are hoping students will get pledges from family and friends to walk the track ans wel as making apersonal donation. All money raised will be given to the American Cancer Society.
This year we have special activities with prepaid tickets sponsored by individual teachers and staff. Advance sales are available from Mrs. Davis for "face painting", Mrs. Caudill for "hair painting" and Mrs. Black for "pie in the face".
Mrs. Jodi Brown, wife of 7th grade math teacher Jay Brown is a new patient fighting cancer. Pledges may be given in her honor and students that have purchased "Jodi Brown T-shirts" may wear them while walking the track.
Students collecting the largest donations in 6th, 7th & 8th grades will receive gift cards for I Tunes and other stores. To be included in the gift card rewards, student donation envelopes must be returned to Mrs. Dern by May 28th.
